Family Photography in the Scottish Borders

They don’t need to. Family sessions are relaxed and I’ll work around your children rather than expecting them to sit and pose. They can move, play and be themselves — often those in-between moments become the photographs you love most.

It depends on your family and the look you love. The studio is comfortable, private and weather-proof, while outdoor sessions give children more space to move and explore. If you’re unsure, I’ll help you decide.

You don’t need to match. Coordinating soft, neutral or complementary colours usually works beautifully. Once you book, I can help you choose outfits that will photograph well together.

Absolutely. They’re part of the family too. Just let me know beforehand so we can choose the best setup or location.

Scottish weather happens! If the weather really isn’t suitable, we can discuss moving the session, changing location or using the studio instead.

Your edited photographs are usually ready within 1–2 weeks and delivered through a private online gallery.

Yes. If your chosen collection includes a set number of photographs, you’ll be able to choose your favourites from your gallery and purchase additional images if you fall in love with more.

Yes. Grandparents and extended family sessions are welcome. Let me know who you’d like included when you enquire so we can plan enough time and the best location.
