My goal is to make every session a little adventure — relaxed, fun, and full of imagination.
Children don’t have to “sit still” or “behave perfectly” — I promise, the best photos happen when they forget the camera is even there.
We’ll choose a setting that suits your child’s personality — maybe outdoors in the soft Borders light, or in my warm Melrose studio for a simple, timeless look.
We’ll chat, play games, tell stories, and let your little one lead the way.

- Studio sessions (in Melrose) are perfect for little ones who love comfort and calm. Soft light, neutral backdrops, and plenty of room to play.
- Outdoor sessions are ideal for curious adventurers — exploring fields near Galashiels, forests around Selkirk, or open spaces near Hawick.
🎂 Cake Smash & First Birthday Sessions
Your baby’s first birthday is such a special moment — full of personality, smiles, and (a little bit of) frosting!
Cake smash sessions are joyful, messy, and full of laughter — the perfect way to celebrate turning one.
We’ll start with a few clean portraits in my Melrose studio, then let the fun begin as your little one explores their cake. Afterwards, we can include a sweet splash session in a baby tub for a bubbly, adorable finish.
Each setup is styled simply and beautifully — soft tones, natural textures, and a focus on your baby’s unique personality.
You’re welcome to bring your own cake, outfit, or theme ideas, or I can help you plan something timeless and minimal.
