While much of my work takes place outdoors, my photo studio in Melrose offers a calm, welcoming space for newborn, portrait, and studio family sessions.
Designed with comfort and creativity in mind, the M Banka Photo Studio is filled with soft natural light, neutral tones and cosy textures — the perfect backdrop for timeless images. Parents can relax while I gently guide the session, whether it’s capturing tiny newborn details or creating elegant family portraits.
The studio provides everything needed for a relaxed experience: comfortable seating, soothing music, refreshments and a selection of wraps, blankets and props for babies. It’s an ideal setting when you want photographs that feel intimate, clean and classic — whatever the weather outside.
Located in the centre of Melrose, the studio is easily accessible for families travelling from Galashiels, Hawick, Selkirk, Jedburgh, and throughout the Scottish Borders.
